Nueva Vida and UNOS; sounds like a Spanish convention

It has been announced today, that the two alliances, United Nations of Sovereignty and Nueva Vida have come to an agreed treaty.
UNOS is around twenty members strong and Nueva Vida stands strong with around 210 members.
The treaty includes the avoidance of hostility between each other, prohibition of espionage, sharing of information, and promise of mutual defense in the time of war.
UNOS has also announced its new flag, which they find very sporty and far more superior to their former flag.

raasa toasted to the new agreement, and is celebrating prosperous times. A few alliances were quick to sanction this announcement, and the Planet of Bob are rejoicing as this is another step closer to global peace.

The shi.., er, FAN hits the Armada?

King Vences apologized yesterday for unknowingly accepting former members of the Federation of Armed Nations into his alliance. A self proclaimed member of FAN, BadJuJu, joined Auric Armada and was appointed the Minister of Defense and Security. Logs reveal that there were conversations between BadJuJu and King Vences about bringing more of BadJuJu's friends over to Au. It is important to note that the logs released so far do not specifically mention FAN. The logs do reveal that King Vences was aware that a friend of BadJuJu was passing information regarding DoC, a MDAP treaty partner of Au to BadJuJu.

It is not specifically stated, but it appears that King Vences worked closely with NPO officers in tracking down the FAN members within Au. Good luck to King Vences and NPO.

FLYing High Again

Recently, Deck of Cards and State of Unified Nations merged to form FLY. Last night, FLY announced that it was an Aqua team alliance and had no part of yellow politics, including a cancellation of its MDAP with Au. Good luck to FLY and Au going forward.

I wanna ROCK! (Tech raid, actually).

The new alliance of Super Robot Pirate Ninja was announced last evening. It appears that certain members of alliances that did not allow tech raiding have decided that they want to, in fact, tech raid. So there you go. I would suggest you hide your women and children from these guys. Oh, and they are a protectorate of the Poison Clan, a bloodthirsty bunch in their own right. May their holy union result in, uh, many tech raids? Good luck, PC and SRPN.

Central Association for Tactical Security and Heroes of the Union announced an MDP on July 9. May your Cats stay hot and frisky. Cats are always good with hot sauce. Ok, ok, I'm done now.

Nueva Vida has a Nueva Emperado, rada? Emperador? My Spanish sucks.

In a sad announcement, Prince Arutha announced that he will be stepping down as Emperor of Nueva Vida. The very capable raasaa will assume the mantle of Nueva Vida, and based on my research become the Third Emperor of NV. Good luck and condolences to Prince Arutha, and congratulations to Emperor raasaa.

The July 4th weekend has passed and it appears that a calm has returned to the CN world. NPO and NpO appear to be patching up their differences and NpO is attempting to repair the damage to their foreign policy as noted in the CNN July 4th post.

By and large, it appears the citizens of Planet Bob have breathed a collective sigh of relief. Good luck to NPO and NpO.

As things return to normal, there are a few developments.

GATO has had elections, and notes they are still at war. Congratulations to GATO.

TORN has also concluded elections and has some new faces in government. Congratulations to TORN.

The Viridian Entente has renegotiated its MDP with FIST to an ODP based on recent governmental changes at FIST. VE also has canceled its treaty with the Order of Halsa. Finally, VE joins many alliances in recognizing AlmightyGrub as the Emperor of the NpO. Good luck to all parties mentioned in this announcement.

...Especially With A Navy On Them!

Admin is adding a Naval Feature to CN. Included are Corvettes, Frigates, Air Craft Carriers as well as other naval ships. This feature will also bring two new improvements to CN to facilitate the implementation of navies. Admin discusses the change here and further directs players here for more information regarding the change in game play.

The release of this update will be sometime this week, according to Admin. In general, navies appear to be expensive and require a fair amount of infrastructure to build. Further, the upkeep costs are expensive as well. CNN will keep a close eye on this development and keep you posted.

All the way from left field

In a completely unexpected turnaround, ElectronicSponge has been dethroned by his own people. Random Interrupt, the New Polar Order Reagent, declared ES as absentee today as he will not be available for some days and at the worst possible time, as such he was to take temporary possession of the throne. He passed control over to Imperator Emeritus Tygaland on a temporary basis, who then passed control to Almighty Grub permanently. Thereby taking control from ES and putting the entierty of the New Polar Order under the control of Almighty Grub. Those of you in the NpO will have to learn a new line "All hail Almighty Grub, all hail the New Polar Order".

This move may have completely dissolved the pressing situation concerning the NpO and very well may have saved the alliance from catastrophy. Earlyer today two of NpO's allys suspended or cancelled their treatys with the NpO untill someone else took control of the alliance. This NPO/NpO civil war may just turn into a NpO civil war, although I think ES has left a sour taste in the mouth of many polaris nations after his actions the past few days.

Today, Friday, July 4th 2008, (Happy Fourth everyone) Troskys Revenge posted, 22 minutes after the day tick the one thing many have feared, the New Pacific Order's ambassadors outright said would never happen. The Ordanace of Orders has officially been dissolved. With great regret I must say that today will live forever in CyberNations history as the start of Great War 5, with this declaration the flimsy wall holding NPO and NpO apart now crumbles, and open war is on our very doorstep.

First of All I'd like to welcome you all to the edge of impossible.....

So today a post was made by TrotskysRevenge, otherwise known as Emperor Moo of the New Pacific Order. The post of course was in response to the claims the New Polar Order made yesterday. In this release he noted that since taking the throne a year and half before NpO has been working to remove him from his position. Even going as far as organizing The Unjust War to create NPO's downfall. As relations between the government of the two empires degraded they kept up the front of everlasting friendship to everyone, even their own peoples. Moo has even stated (and this i will quote because it is important

Either things change immediately or, with deep regret, we will be forced to dissolve the Ordinance of Order.

At least 2 nations have taken this VERY seriously and are already warring between each other, ignoring the Ordnance of Orders in the process. Two smaller nations Jurva and GTnewnation are warring with each other as we speak.

With this post, the s%#! doth hit the fan.

This very lengthy post made on the CN Forum just after this tick this morning, uncovers a very interesting plot. From reading it it seems as though a secret group was created for the specific purpose of further destabilizing the NpO (New Polar Order) from within the NPO (New Pacific Order). This effort culminated in the last week with NpO's removal from many treaties.

In response to this subterfuge launched by the NPO, The leader of the New Polar Order had this to say, or to paraphrase much of it. The NPO launched a smear campaign against their oldest allys, coerced and even forced many of NpO's allys to drop treaty's with them and fight along side NPO. Soon lies about many things will surface, logs taken out of context, logs without timestamps to show how "weak" the NpO is. Even as far as to claim that the emporer of The New Pacific Order is a false emperor. [Please note that these are not the views of myself, CNNN, or The Legion this is merely a paraphrasing/summarization of what was said by the NpO]

Now there's no DoW yet, but this is how the Declarations of Support have lined up so far. I'll be watching carefully the next few nights to see if a DoW comes out from anywhere.


As a side note (I'm sure many missed it) IAA has returned to none of it's glory and is requesting peace with all those it was at war with in an effort to rebuild itself.

Pure Speculation

This post is Purely speculative, and is to be taken as such, theres no known information to back it up, and it's merely based on the events of the past few days.

The rush to drop alliances and make new treaty's seems to have slowed a bit in the past day or so. It looks as if the lines are done being drawn and now people are digging their trenches. Rumor after rumor has been going around, and everyone swears that there will be war in the next week, but no one can give anything official to confirm it or deny it (tends to happen with war plans, nothing gets said, not even that a DoW is being written until the last second). You may consider it a tinfoil hat rumor, but I say it won't be long before war breaks out, and I don't think it will be some tiny thing involving alliances no one has ever heard of.

Everyone seems to be bracing for war, even those who would rather not get involved. I'm sure theres plenty of info to support this, it's just in private government talks in several alliances across the board. I know as soon as I hear anything definite, I'm making more military and posting here (in that order) .
